Our Horses

Grady

Grady, a white pony, with a smiling rider in the ring

Our very smart and athletic 12-hand, 16-year-old schoolmaster Welsh Mountain pony, who loves his little riders.

Bode

Bode, a dappled gray Connemara, wearing a halter and blue first-place ribbons

Bode is our 13.3-hand Connemara schoolmaster, and he is also Grady's best friend. Bode came up through the ranks as a jumper, moved on to eventing, and now enjoys introducing young riders to the sport.

Sugar

Sugar, a chestnut horse with a white blaze and white socks, with a young rider in a green pasture

Sugar began her career as a halter show horse, then raced barrels. Now she's our very sweet and quiet babysitter, and she looks after her riders.

Henry

Henry, a dark horse with a wide white blaze, standing in the snow in a red-trimmed blanket

Our very personable driving machine, who is learning the ropes under saddle.

Wally

Wally, a dark Thoroughbred in a black blanket, grazing in a fenced pasture

Our very sweet but spirited 17-hand Thoroughbred.

The Herd

Four horses in a tall green pasture, with a split-rail fence and tree-covered hills behind them
